Dresi Fu Yeye is a yearly event from Theater Rotterdam in which the shared colonial history is centered. For this edition me and Kalyan Artsen were asked to create a performance. We made our performance around our own family histories, with the central question being “What is home?” During the performance part of my text was recorded, I then interpretated the words using Krump dance.
